Reservations, Deposits and Payment Methods

Maximum occupancy of each campsite is three people unless otherwise approved by BCB prior to your arrival. There will be a charge of $15/night for additional adults over 18 years of age.

For your privacy and safety (and ours), we do not accept electronic or online payments at this time and only accept cash, checks or money orders as payment. Exceptions may be made.

Reservations

Reservations are required to stay at BCB. Reservations must be made at the campground, by phone (563.822.0422) or email (buffalocreekbluffs@gmail.com). Reservations will be considered valid once the deposit check has cleared and a receipt has been emailed to the guest from BCB. No drop-ins will be permitted into the gated campground. Rental agreements are required for monthly and seasonal guests. Unfortunately, our campground and purpose does not lend itself to daily or weekend RV campers. However, exceptions may be made for week-long rentals based on availability and BCB approval.

Reservations should be made one (1) month in advance.

Preference will be given to seasonal guests.

Reservation Fee and Security Deposit

A reservation fee is due prior to check-in to hold a site. Upon check-in, the reservation fee will become a refundable security deposit to be returned after check-out if the site is left in good condition. The reservation fee/security deposit will not be used towards any rental payments.

No refunds will be provided for cancellations within three weeks of check-in date, early departures or expulsions.

Rates – All-Inclusive

BCB provides an all-inclusive rate (e.g., electric, water, septic, taxes, trash collection, maintenance) so guests don’t have to be worried about tracking utility usage or wonder if there will be a surprise on the final bill.

However, excessive use of utilities (electric, water, septic, trash) may lead to additional charges or forfeiture of security deposit. Campers will be notified of excessive use and a chance to address the usage before any additional charges occur.

Rates

Weekly Rates:

Summer (April-October) – $275/week (daily equivalent of $39.30)
- A $275 reservation fee/security deposit is due two weeks prior to check-in unless otherwise approved by BCB.
- Special 2023 discounted trial offer is $225 for the first week.
- No refund of reservation fee for cancelations on weekly rentals.
- Full rental payment due upon check-in.
- No refunds for cancellations, early departures or expulsions.

Winter (November-March) – $225/week (daily equivalent of $32.15)
- A $225 reservation fee/security deposit is due two weeks prior to check-in unless otherwise approved by BCB.
- Special 2023 discounted trial offer is $175 for the first week.
- No refund of reservation fee for cancelations on weekly rentals.
- Full rental payment due upon check-in.
- No refunds for cancellations, early departures or expulsions.

Monthly Rates:

Summer (April-October) – $775/month (weekly equivalent of $193.75)
- $775 reservation fee/security deposit due one month prior to arrival.
- Special 2023 discounted trial offer is $700 for the first month.
- No refund of reservation fee for cancelations within three weeks of check-in.
- Full rental payment due upon check-in unless otherwise approved by BCB prior to your arrival.
- Monthly reservations cover a 30 day stay.

Winter (November-March) – $725/month (weekly equivalent of $181.25)
- $725 reservation fee/security deposit is due one month prior to arrival.
- Special 2023 discounted trial offer is $650 for the first month.
- No refund of reservation fee for cancelations within three weeks of check-in.
- Full rental payment due upon check-in unless otherwise approved by BCB prior to your arrival.
- Monthly agreements cover a 30 day stay.

Seasonal Rates:

Summer (April-October) - $4,725 ($675/monthly equivalent)
- $675 reservation fee/security deposit is due March 1.
- Special 2023 discounted trial offer is $150 off first season.
- No refund of reservation fee for cancelations within three weeks of check-in.
- $2,362.50 due upon check-in (April 1).
- $393.75 due on the first day of the 2nd month (May 1) of the rental agreement and the 1st of every month thereafter.
- Check-in April 1 (between 3-6pm); Check-out October 31 (before 1pm).
- Summer guests that decide to extend their stay beyond October 31, must get BCB approval and will be based on campsite availability. Guests may be required to change campsites.
- Summer guests that wish to extend their stay will pay the winter monthly rate ($725) or winter weekly rate ($225) unless a new winter seasonal contract is signed ($625/month). Based on availability.
- Rent may be pro-rated upon approval of BCB if guests need to change check-in and/or check-out dates.

Winter (November-March) - $3,125 (monthly equivalent of $625/month)
- $625 reservation fee/security deposit is due October 1.
- Special 2023 discounted trial offer is $150 off first season.
- No refund of reservation fee for cancelations within three weeks of check-in.
- $1,563 due upon check-in.
- $390.75 due on the first day of the 2nd month (December 1) of the rental agreement and the 1st of every month thereafter.
- Check-in November 1 (between 3-6pm); Check-out March 31 (before 1pm).
- Winter guests that decide to extend their stay beyond March 31, must get BCB approval and will be based on campsite availability. Guests may be required to change campsites.
- Winter guests that wish to extend their stay will pay the summer monthly rate ($775) or summer weekly rate ($275) unless a new summer seasonal contract is signed. Based on availability.
- Rent may be pro-rated upon approval of BCB if guests need to change check-in and/or check-out dates.

RV Rental

Longer Stays
- Additional discounts and payment structures are available for folks that commit to two consecutive seasonal stays.

On-site Storage of Campers:

Winter storage of camper at a specific campsite (e.g., leaving in place for next season)
- $100/month.
- Entire payment due three weeks prior to November 1.
- Based on availability. Camper may need to be moved during storage period should a monthly or seasonal guest request the campsite.
  - Guest who sign a seasonal contract for the following season and provide a deposit, will not be subject to move during storage period.
  - Guest will be given a minimum of 2-weeks notice if camper needs to be moved.
  - Should camper need to be moved during storage period, guest will be pro-rated to the $75/month non-specific site storage fee described below for the entire season.
- Guests will be allowed to access and perform routine maintenance on vehicles while in storage, but regular, overnight stays are not permitted.
  - Guests who wish to stay overnight more than 2 days/month during the storage period will be charged the seasonal weekly rate. Utilities are not guaranteed during storage period stays.
- Wastes from routine maintenance, winterization and/or spring opening of vehicles must be contained and removed from the campground.
  - Wastes associated with maintenance cannot be dumped into the septic or onto the ground. Guests will be asked to leave immediately should such dumping occur.

Storage of camper at non-specific site on BCB property any time of year
- $75/month.
- Based on availability.
- Camper will be stored in a non-campsite location on the property during the storage period.
- All rules for specific campsite storage above apply.
